South East Corner or ‘Agneya’ kon is considered as the best place for Goddess Durga during Navratri
The second best location to place the idol of Maa Durga is the South direction
Devotees place ‘Akshand Jot before Maa Durga to receive positive vibrations throughout the festival
The Correct place for ‘Akshand Jot’ or Earthen Oil Lamp is the zone of Fire i.e. South East Zone
You should face North or East while offering prayers to Maa Durga
Never place the idol of Maa Durga near a toilet or bathroom. This is not auspicious
All Puja related items should be placed in South or South East zone
Make ‘Rangoli’ using vibrant colors to generate positive energy
Avoid Black and Dark Colors in Puja Puja room decoration
