Is the shape of the plot is important in vastu?

I have purchased a corner plot with rectangular shape, It's in the south east corner of the entire layout. Can I build a house for my own use?

Yes, while buying plot it necessary to note the shape of the plot. The plot should in either Square or Rectangle. There should be no cuts or extensions at any corners.

In Vastu the shape of the plot is very important. The rectangular and square shaped plot is the best plot for Vastu. 

A chart is given below about shape of plot and their result;

Rectangular                -----            Increasing Heath, Wealth and Wisdom 

Circular                      -----            Not good 

Hexagonal                  -----            Ashubha ( Not good )

Triangular                    -----           Harmful for land owner

Oval Shaped               -----           Beneficial for religious work

In general the square  and rectangle plot is good. that means all the corners should be in 90 degree.
