Energy Fields in Vaasthu:

Vastu Shastra is an ancient building science which lays down simple guidelines for the construction of buildings and for the lifestyle of people. Vaastu aims to realign the house with cosmic & tulleric (ground energy) principles. Though it is ancient, its guidelines are still applicable today.

Vaastu Shastra takes into account the various natural energies which are available free of cost around us on Earth like Solar Energy from Sun, Lunar Energy from Moon, Earth Energy, Sky Energy, Electric Energy, Magnetic Energy, Thermal Energy, Wind Energy, Light Energy and Cosmic Energy.

According to Vaastu Shastra, energy lines run like a large grid across the Earth, from North to South and from East to West. The electromagnetic field thus generated, affects the human body at the cellular level and controls the organs of the human body. It is believed that when a structure is placed on Earth, the equilibrium is affected because it breaks the electromagnetic field grid. Hence this needs to be restored so that the energy flows harmoniously. The goal of Vaastu is to restore balance between the building structure and the cosmos because when buildings echo the underlying cosmic principles, they vibrate in harmony with the universe. These vibrations also affect the inmates of these buildings in a positive way creating peace, prosperity and money in our lives.

According to Vaastu, the movement of energy through a 4-sided building is similar to the flow of energy across the Earth. In Vaastu Shastra, it is believed that 'prana'  or positive energy flows into the house early in the morning from the North-East direction and meanders towards the South-East and North-West corners before heading out through the South-West corner at night.

The main aim of Vaastu Shastra is that humans should strive to absorb positive energy or 'prana' throughout the day as it is beneficial to our bodies and our health. So in  Vaastu, the layout plan of a house is based on the position of prana during the day and the functions of each room.  Thus, the rooms that are mostly used in the morning like the Pooja room, Bathrooms etc are placed in the North-East and the Bedrooms to which we retire at night are placed in the South-West.

Our house, work or business place is connected to our mind and body. For example any abnormality in our body will make us uncomfortable. Likewise if the place has positive energy we perform well. If the energy is low or Negative our performance will not be good. How to achieve this positive energy and positive vibration. We can correct our mind and body by doing Dhyana and yoga or physical exercises. A place can be corrected by changing the negativiry by placing the powerful energy materials in the place. If the place is not corrected even an high person will be drained of his energy.

  1. Energy Science

With the emerging reality of global climate change, we are now conscious of the imperative to change the ways in which we create and use energy, in all its different forms and applications. Many of our human activities have an impact on the Earth's biosphere - our home.

Vastu is a map on how to create a building that vibrates with Universal Energy. Vastu science is just that: a science. It is not a superstition. The basics are orientation, auspicious entry, room locations, Brahmastan (sacred center), sacred dimensions, and geometry. In general, Vastu architecture favors symmetry. Every time you enter your house you activate a presiding energy in relationship to the mandala or Grid of the house at that point. A door must be precisely located for activation of most beneficial energy. The structure and orientation of the building sets up a vibration that either nourishes, drains, or is neutral. If you live in the building, it will have some effect, no matter who owns it. If you are really interested in living in tune with Vastu energy, then commit to a pure Vastu residence.
